Bethel Named Among Best Communities For Music Education

BETHEL, CT — The Town was named among the "Best Communities For Music Education" for 2020 by the NAMM Foundation.

The Foundation is the philanthropic wing of the National Association of Music Merchants, a trade association that supports programs, research and activities that promote music-making.

The BCME award "recognizes and celebrates school districts and schools for their support and commitment to music education and efforts to assure access to music for all students as part of a well-rounded education," according to the Foundations's website.

Communities are judged on their funding, participation, opportunity, standards, community, facilities and other factors that affect access to comprehensive music education.
