Bethel Poet Laureate Wins Book Award
Each year a panel of judges from the American Journal of Nursing selects 'the most valuable texts' of the year in 20 categories.

BETHEL, CT — The town’s poet laureate has won first place in the American Journal of Nursing’s 2018 Book of the Year Awards.
“Taking Care of Time” by Cortney Davis won first place in the creative works category, according to the group's website.
Davis, a retired nurse, was named Bethel's first honorary poet laureate by the town's selectmen following an open competition.
