Bethel Police Seek Public's Help ID'ing Car Theft Suspects

Have you seen these men? They are persons of interest for the Bethel PD.

BETHEL, CT -- The police in Bethel believe there may be a connection between the thieves who broke into cars in town last weekend and men depicted in these photos provided by the Clinton Police Department. The men in the photos engaged officers in a pursuit that was ultimately called off.

A wave of car break-ins has plagued the area and other law enforcement agencies have likewise taken to social media to alert and warn residents. Law enforcement has been stressed that many of these thefts could have been thwarted had motorists just locked their cars and taken their keys.

Bethel police are asking anyone with information to contact Officer Lombardo at the Clinton Police Department 860-669-0451; email llombardo@clintonct.org, or Det. Sgt. Flynn email jflynn@clintonct.org, or Det. Cpl. Pellegrini email bpellegrini@clintonct.org
