Bethel Police Seek Suspect In Strong-Arm Robbery

Police are seeking the suspect pictured. Have you seen him?

BETHEL, CT — Bethel Police are seeking a suspect in a strong-arm robbery that occurred in town Wednesday night, the department announced via Facebook Thursday afternoon.

Police say the suspect lunged over the counter and forced the clerk away before stealing several hundred dollars from the drawer at approximately 9:30 p.m Wednesday night.

The suspect was wearing a blue PETRO Oil sweatshirt, black floppy winter hat and boots. Police say his left arm was wrapped in an ace bandage.

Police did not say where the robbery occurred.
