Bethel Police Welcome Newest K9 Officer

BETHEL, CT — Over the weekend the Bethel Police Department introduced its latest member to the community at the town's Food Truck Friday event.

K9 Penelope, or "Penny," is a 4-month old bloodhound who will be trained for tracking. She was donated to the BPD by Momma’s Bodacious Bloodhounds & Rescue, a Virginia-based breeder, with the help of Zeus Canine, who will be training Penny and her handler Corporal Jared Robinson.
