Bethel Public Library Hosts Writers Group
The monthly group meetings are open to adults age 21 and over.

From the Bethel Public Library:
Surveys show that writers who meet regularly are more motivated and steadily improve their skills. Writers looking for a relaxed and friendly environment to share and develop their craft have an opportunity to do so at the Bethel Public Library! The Library Writers Group meets monthly on a scheduled Wednesday evening, 6:00-7:45 pm, and is open to adults 21 years and older. There are no prerequisites other than a willingness to bring an original piece to read, and to give and receive constructive feedback. We are fortunate to have professional writing instructor Linda Chiara join us on a regular basis, while Library staff facilitate the balance of the meetings.
There are only three more Library Writers Group meetings before we break for the summer: April 20, May 18, and June 15. Professional writing instructor Linda Chiara will join us for the April meeting. We meet in the Morse Conference Room at the Library, 189 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel. Registration is required and limited to 10 per meeting. Register through the Library’s online calendar at www.bethellibrary.org or call 203-794-8756 x4.
All programs sponsored by the Bethel Public Library are open to the public and meet accessibility requirements for the disabled. Those needing special accommodations should contact the Library at least two weeks prior to the program date to make arrangements.
