Senator Boucher will be discussing, with Paul Szatkowski, the results of the economy versus the State of Connecticut budgetary crisis occurring in the current fiscal year. As a result of the past fiscal year budget and its problems for 2017/2018, the State Legislature finally developed a Bipartisan Budget for 2018/2019 that does not impose any reductions for Transportation, Education, Town Grants and the Elimination of Highway Tolls. Senator Boucher also reminds the viewing audience of the importance of changing the political composition of the future Legislature in order to avoid budgetary crises and project positive growth for Connecticut.
