Two hundred scooters from Bethel-based Lynx City roll onto the streets of Orlando, FL, this month

BETHEL, CT — Local scooter business Lynx City is going national.
This month the Bethel-based company is launching 200 Lynx City scooters onto the streets and byways of Orlando, the third largest metropolitan location in Florida.
"Micro mobility transportation is gaining in popularity. It's fast, cheap and fun and we are thrilled to be making our southern debut in Orlando, which is not only the US’s top tourist draw, but has a burgeoning population," says Alan Moisio, Lynx's CEO.

According to Moisio and Harvey, Lynx City also aims to support wildlife rehabilitation efforts in local communities. "At Lynx City, we are passionate about the care and protection of wildlife. A portion of every ride will be donated to local wildlife rehabilitators in each city we operate in."
In Orlando, Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge and Education Center, The Haven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Second Chance Wildlife Sanctuary will benefit from scooter rentals. In Connecticut, Wildlife in Crisis in Weston and The Wildlife Line in Sherman, have been added to Connecticut's 2020 list.
Lynx City is located at 102 Wooster Street, Bethel.
