The Bethel Police Department has released the names of the three people shot Friday afternoon including one person who has died.

BETHEL, CT - Police have identified the victims in Friday's multiple shooting incident, which left a 76-year-old man dead and two others injured.

The shootings occurred at 11 Governor's Lane at approximately 3 p.m. Friday when police received a 911 hangup call, police said. When police arrived at the home they found three people shot. Two were transported to Danbury Hospital and one was deceased.

Police said that Charles Cristofalo 76, has died as a result of the shooting. Ann Cristofalo, 68, was hospitalized. Thai Pham, 56 was also hospitalized, police said.

No further details are available about what led up to the shooting, police said, however First Selectman Matthew Knickerbocker, who was on scene along with police, fire, EMTs and detectives, told Patch Friday that it appeared to be a domestic dispute.

While police aren't releasing specific details about the shooting, officials have said the public is not in any danger.

A search warrant was obtained by detectives to search the home for evidence of criminal activity, but police said that the warrant was sealed by a Judge, so no further information about what was discovered, what the motive was, or any additional information can be released until after 14 days from the conclusion of the search.
