Bethel, Stony Hill Firefighters Respond to Fire at Laundromat
Bethel and Stony Hill firefighters battled a blaze Thursday evening at the Hub Tub Laundromat in the Nutmeg Wine Plaza.

“Bethel and Stony Hill firefighters were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 279 Greenwood Ave. on Thursday evening. Bethel Chief Fred Ingram arrived on scene and reported a working dryer fire in the Hub Tub Laundromat. The fire was rapidly extinguished, with heat, smoke and water damage in the laundromat, and minor smoke extension into adjoining stores in the 1-story commercial shopping center.”
