- St. Mary’s Christmas Craft Fair, Dodgingtown Rd. Bethel, Santa and Crafts 10am - 2pm., Kid crafts are $4 each or 3 for $10. The price includes the craft, candy cane and gingerbread house box to carry your craft. Make your own Gingerbread House centerpiece $10; Santa photos are $5.
- Santa Bicycle Ride through Bethel and Danbury, dozens of Santas will ride through town in a festive display of holiday sprit. Click here for details.

- SEVENTH ANNUAL HOLIDAY COOKIE DECORATING PROGRAM IN MEMORY OF SHELLY ARNHOLD at the Bethel Public Library, For kids - Ages 4 - 9 years old - 2:00 - 3:00 pm - Children’s Program Room. Children will decorate several large holiday cookies with frosting, sprinkles, and other goodies!. They will take home some of the cookies while the remaining ones will be donatred to Bishop Curtis Congregate and Reynolds Ridge.Registration required to attend at the Children’s Services Desk or by calling the library at 203-794-8756, Ex. 5. Class limit: 20 children. **Children 7 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent during the session. Parents of older children must remain in the library.
- First Congregational Church of Bethel Yankee Pot Roast Dinner and Christmas Concert! The dinner, with pot roast, mashed potatoes, peas, red cabbage, gravy, and desserts, is from 6 to 7:30 PM in Main Hall at the church, located at 46 Main Street in Bethel. Admission is $20 for adults, $8 for children, and those under 6 are free. The dinner is followed upstairs in the sanctuary at 8 PM with a Christmas Concert with our Sanctuary Choir, under the direction of Tina Johns Heidrich. They will be performing Joseph & Pamela Martin’s “Morning Star” cantata, accompanied by a brass ensemble. The concert is free and open to all!
Sunday, Dec. 7
- Free Movies at the Library.First movie based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s trilogy. Due to Licensing agreement, they cannot advertise movie titles. For further information, please call the Library at 203-794-8756. This movie is rated PG-13. Location: Maria Parloa Community Room.
