Update: Body Found at St. Mary's Cemetery Thursday Morning

Update, 2:30 p.m.
More details about the body found at St. Mary's Cemetery Thursday morning have been released.

Captain Robert Cedergren of the Bethel Police said a person visiting a grave at the cemetery Thursday morning reported finding the body.

At this time the police and a medical examiner are investigating the situation, but at this time are calling it "an untimely death" and no foul play is suspected. 

The identity of the body will not be released until family is notified. 

Original Post, 12 p.m.:
Bethel Police have confirmed that a body was found at St. Mary's Cemetery, off Route 53, Thursday morning.

As of noon, police are still on the scene. It has been reported that a call came in around 9:30 a.m. reporting that a body had been found.
