Book Sale at the Bethel Public Library

The Friends of the Bethel Public Library — The Friends of the Bethel Public Library will hold its annual Mini-BIG Book Sale on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p..m in the library's lobby and community room. All proceeds from the sale help fund library programs, including "First Book" for children and "Cultural Passes," which give patrons free or reduced admission to many Connecticut museums.

The Mini-BIG Book Sale will feature thousands of books and audiovisual materials for all ages,
including nonfiction in every imaginable subject, as well as one-of-a-kind vintage books. Most items will be priced at 50 cents to $3 with a $5 bag sale starting at 3 p.m. The Book Cellar, located in the library's basement, will be open throughout the sale. Here, shoppers find gently used books, CDs, DVDs and vinyl all year round.
