Relay For Life -- Team Fundraisers -- 4/15 Edition

The 2013 Relay For Life of Bethel is an overnight, grassroots fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.  This year's event will take place on Saturday, June 8.  Between now and Relay Day, teams will raise money in a variety of ways -- here are some upcoming fundraisers (and how you can help!).

Events

Friday, April 19th -- Gym Time!

Need a way for the kids to burn off some energy during Spring Break?  Bring them to Gymnastics Revolution (14 Starr Road, Danbury) from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.  For $20, kids will get two hours of supervised gym time with experienced coaches plus a snack -- with a portion of the fee benefiting the American Cancer Society via Relay For Life team The Atkins Army.

Sunday, April 28th -- Road Rally!

Join Relay For Life team Captains 'Cure'-ageous for an event that's part scenic drive, part treasure hunt, and all kinds of fun!  Teams will be given clues to follow and questions to answer as they drive their way through the Road Rally.  Event includes a picnic at the finish line.  The $50 registration fee per car goes directly to the American Cancer Society.

Tuesday, May 7th -- Book Swap!

Team M2M Kicks Cancer will be holding a book sale at the Relay For Life Team Captains' Meeting.  Bring your old books and swap them for a $1 donation.  If you don't have a book to exchange, you can buy one for $2.

Saturday, May 18th -- Bark For Life!

What Relay For Life is for humans, Bark For Life is for dogs.  Join us for a half-mile dog walk around Meckauer Park in Bethel -- registration begins at 11 am, with the walk beginning shortly after noon.  There will be food, treats, games, prizes, raffles and more -- bring your dog(s) and have some fun!
