Join us for a very special evening with Rose Levy Beranbaum as we discuss her new memoir, Ma Vie En Rose, on Wednesday October 14th.

We will discuss the book with Rose, and for those who choose to, there will be baking some of the recipes from the book.

When you register to attend the event, you will have the chance to order the book. If you would like to choose a  recipe from the book to prepare and bring the evening of the author event., please just choose "I will be baking" option at registration. Baking is such a central part of Rose's life, and we love to bake her recipes at events with her. There will be a swap at the end for the bakers, so you can come with one dish and leave with samples of many others!

If you do not choose to bake, please feel free to register to attend, as well.

About the book:
In Ma Vie en Rose (My Sweet Life), Rose Levy Beranbaum shares her deeply personal journey from a sensitive, food-averse child in postwar New York to the pioneering author of The Cake Bible--the groundbreaking work that introduced standardized weights, ingredient science, and techniques like reverse creaming to generations of home bakers. Along the way, she also designed innovative precision equipment, further advancing accuracy and confidence in the kitchen.

Perfect for devoted bakers, culinary history enthusiasts, and readers who love stories of reinvention, this memoir reveals how discipline, curiosity, and quiet determination built a lasting legacy in American kitchens. Interwoven throughout are vivid time capsules of the events and icons who shaped the food world, alongside signature recipes -- some beloved classics, others published here for the first time -- presented in full detail for home bakers ready to bake with precision and confidence.
