Clarence J. Cyr, 84, of Bethel, Passed Away
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, Bethel, on Wednesday morning.

Clarence J. Cyr, age 84, of Bethel, CT died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, October 24, 2015. He was the husband of Helen (Smith) Cyr.
He was born in Milo, ME, February 12, 1931 a son of the late Peter and Phoebe (Cote) Cyr. Clarence was a Bethel resident for the past 50 years and was a builder of many houses in Fairfield County. He was the owner of H & L Residential Home Builders until his retirement.

He enjoyed building boats, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. Clarence made maple syrup from his property and with the apples from his trees baked many apple pies. A man of deep faith, he read his bible every day.
In addition to his wife of 64 years, he is survived by his daughters: Diane Ford and her husband Richard, Maria Cyr, Corale Cyr, JoAnn Douglass; son: Roger Cyr and his wife Donna; grandchildren: Jessica Agati, Heather Cyr and her husband Tom, Tiffany Spencer and her husband Derek, Brian Cyr, Ruby Moore, Blake Ford, Rachel Ford, Andrei Ford, Raymond A. Douglass & Danielle Douglass; 8 great grandchildren: Johnny, Joel, Duncan, Audrina, Oliver, Abigail, Nolan & Harlowe as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter: Sharon Agati; brothers: Hubert and Arthur Cyr; and sister: Albertina Dinsmore.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, Bethel, Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel will be private.
The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00.
