Danbury Woman Arrested For DUI After Bethel Crash
The Danbury woman crashed her car in the area of Nashville Road and Route 53 in Bethel.

Bethel police responded to a one-car accident at the intersection of Route 53 and Nashville Road on Dec. 23, 2015 at approximately 12:30 a.m., according to a police report.
After smelling an odor of alcohol on the female driver, they administered a field sobriety test, which she failed. There were no injuries in the accident.
Marie Madeira, 36, of Danbury, was arrested for driving while under the influence and operating with a suspended license. She was also arrested for operating with a suspended license in Oct. 2015.

According to court records, she was released on a $500 bond in the December incident and is due in court on Jan. 25, 2016. She has pled “Not Guilty” to both the October and December offenses.
