Write from the Start Interactive Workshop

Write From the Start is an interactive workshop for fiction and nonfiction writers of all levels that examines a writer's work, especially the opening paragraphs, to reveal the problems most likely to recur throughout. Participants receive constructive feedback on how to spot and fix difficulties with word order, tone, voice, narrative, plot, structure, dialogue, theme and story. To make the most of the workshop, bring the first two pages of a current writing project. This two-hour workshop includes Q&A, handouts and a hot-linked list of top literary venues and resources.

Limited to 25 participants.
