Fairfield County 4-H Spring Benefit Horse Show
Open Schooling Show benefiting Fairfield County 4-H postponed due to devastation in our area. Sunday, June 10 is the new date.

Sunday, JUNE 10, is the date for the 2018 58th annual 4-H Horse Show, held at the UConn Cooperative Extension Center grounds, at 67 Stony Hill Road in Bethel. The popular open schooling show features divisions in English Equitation, Western Riding, Hunt Seat, Trail and Jumpers. We still offer some medal classes. Most classes are pinned through 8th place. All division winners are awarded champion and reserve ribbons and a trophy. A stick horse class for youth 10 and under as well as a craft area for youngsters is offered for a $5 donation.
2018 4-H Horse Show sponsors include Fairfield County Extension Council, Benedict’s Home and Garden; Monroe, Newtown Bridle Lands Association, Grand Prix Equine, Ingersoll Auto of Danbury, Agriventures Agway; Danbury, Chevron Humankind, Sunnybrook Farm; Newtown, Silver Horseshoe Stables; Milford, Over the Hill Farm; Brewster, and Happy Trails Farm; Danbury. According to show manager, Chris Schilling, “The support of these companies greatly enhance our fundraising efforts.”
Refreshments are available on grounds. During the horse show, a silent auction will be held. For a prize book contact, 203-207-8440.
