Fairy Tale Theater - Plays By and For Kids - Presents "The Jungle Book' in Bethel July 22 at 11 AM

Fairy Tale Theater, performed for children by children, presents a one-hour, interactive version of "The Jungle Book" at Workspace Education

Musicals at Richter (MAR) concludes its 19th season of Fairy Tale Theater, a play series by and for young people, on Saturday, July 22 at 11 AM at Workspace Education in Bethel with the beloved classic, “The Jungle Book."

Performed by an ensemble of young area actors under the direction of veteran educator and performer Elyse Jasensky of Danbury, this hour-long, interactive adaptation of the classic tale includes plenty of audience participation, a show-related craft activity, birthday recognitions and a visit with Mother Goose (played by Jasensky). In the case of inclement weather, the performance will be held inside the Workspace facility.

“It's exciting to be in a new space that has so much to offer us: a beautiful outdoor performance spot plus a versatile indoor space in the case of inclement weather,” says Jasensky. “It's also exciting to be supporting Workspace's program and to help spread the word about what they are doing in their amazing facility. They have been so welcoming to us, and we are so happy to be there!”
