Family Friendly Ghost Tour and Ghost Tour Pub Crawl

Hear Ghostly Stories As You Walk Through Downtown Bethel

The Bethel Historical Society is hosting a Pub Crawl Ghost Tour at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 26th. Adults can enjoy drinks and appetizers along the way while hearing ghostly stories at the Putnam House, j.lawrence downtown and The Note. The tour is limited to 20 people. Attendees should meet first at the Putnam House. The event is $50.

Parents can bring their children the next day, October 27th, for the annual Family-friendly Candlelight Ghost tour through the streets of Bethel. You may meet several people along the way. Bethel author and storyteller Marty Bishop will detail local spooky legends and superstition. Attendees should meet at the 1842 Second Meeting House at 6:30 p.m. Friday. The tour will last an hour and conclude with hot cider and donuts. The tour is $10 for Historical Society members, $12 for nonmembers and $6 for kids 5 to 12.

Reservations are required for both tours and can be made by calling Pat Rist at 203 743-5893 by Wednesday, October 25th.
