Fire Marshal Determines Cause of Bethel Industrial Park Fire

The Sunday afternoon fire occupied emergency crews from around the area for eight hours back in May.

BETHEL, CT — The fire marshal has determined electrical issues were the cause of the Francis J. Clarke Industrial Park fire in May.

The Sunday afternoon fire occupied emergency crews from Shelton, Roxbury, Danbury, Trumbull, Redding, Brookfield, Weston, Newtown, and Monroe, as well as Bethel, for eight hours before it was extinguished. The center of the fire was a more than 10,000-square-foot manufacturing building at 21 Francis J. Clarke Circle.
