A dog is loose in the area of Route 53 in Bethel near the Danbury Animal Welfare Society and DAWS has sent out an urgent request for help to find her:
"Lottie was scheduled to be spayed this morning at Danbury Animal Welfare Society in Bethel CT. When her foster dad went in to let them know they were there, Lottie managed to step on the door latch. She escaped the car and is now loose in the general area!
Lottie is a very very very shy, scared girl. She WILL NOT come to people. If you are in the area and see her - please DO NOT CHASE, DO NOT APPROACH, DO NOT CALL HER NAME! Please call us immediately with any sightings!
