John Pistone Declares Candidacy for 5th Congressional District of CT
Connecticut's 5th Congressional District includes Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury, New Fairfield, Newtown, and Sherman in Fairfield County.
Conservative Republican candidate John Pistone has declared his candidacy for the 5th congressional district of Connecticut. He will challenge Democrat Elizabeth Esty in 2016.
Pistone, a Brookfield resident for the past 26 years said on his website that he is running “to support and enact common-sense legislation, not business as usual politics.”
“The people of the 5th Congressional District of Connecticut deserve someone who is in touch with the daily, everyday concerns of parents, veterans, business owners, workers, teachers, nurses, students, trade workers, and countless others. As a concerned parent and skills trade worker, I could relate to the everyday concerns.”
