Joseph P. Fiore, 86, of Bethel, Passed Away Dec. 22

Joseph P. Fiore of Bethel, a former Westport resident, died Dec. 22 at Bethel Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was 86.

He was born in Westport on Jan. 12, 1929 and was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Febbraio) Fiore. He was the director of operations at Arizona State University for many years.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews and his sweetheart, Sharla James. He was predeceased by three brothers, Hannibal Fiore, Salvatore Fiore and Anthony Fiore, three sisters, Clara Robinson, Eda Rakoczi and Gloria Stapkowski.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. in Assumption Cemetery, Kings Highway North. The Harding Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
