Latest Bethel Coronavirus Updates: 39 Active Cases
Here are the latest, local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Bethel.

BETHEL, CT — The state Department of Public Health has confirmed there are 39 cases of the new coronavirus in the Town, as of Wednesday afternoon, up from 38 reported Tuesday.
Statewide, 27 people died during the past 24 hours which brings the total number of coronavirus related deaths in Connecticut to 112, Gov. Ned Lamont said Thursday.
Among 216 nursing homes in CT, 42 (19 percent) have had at least one confirmed case of COVID-19. A total of 150 nursing home residents with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 have been identified of whom 64 (43 percent) were hospitalized and 15 (10 percent) have died.
