Lawrence S. Pennington, 54, of Bethel, Died July 16
A memorial service was for Mr. Pennington was held at Trinity Christian Church in Bethel.

Lawrence S. Pennington age 54 of Bethel, died on Thursday July 16th at his residence.
Lawrence was born in Port Chester, NY April 14, 1961, the son of Alan F. Pennington of Sebastian, FL and the late Elizabeth W. (Calderwood) Pennington. A Danbury area resident his entire life, he was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1979. He had attended Daniel Webster College, Nashua, NH and had been employed as a computer specialist for the last 18 years with Norfield Development Partners, Norwalk, CT.

Lawrence was a member of Trinity Christian Church/Treadwell Lewis Ministries. He was very involved in the church, and donated his time to help those in need through his various charitable and mission activities. He was a religious mentor to his nephew, Christian. Lawrence was an animal lover and photographer, and enjoyed spending time going to Putnam Park, a great place to indulge in his favorite hobbies, walking and taking photographs.
Lawrence was a joy to be around, always with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family
and friends.
In addition to his father, Lawrence is survived by two sisters: Donna I. Frost and her husband Phil of Sandusky, OH, and Elizabeth P. Thornton of Blue Springs, Miss., and his nieces and nephews Carrie, Caitlin, Christian, and Jason. He was predeceased by his sister Victoria A. Pennington.

A memorial service [was] celebrated on Thursday July 23rd at the Trinity Christian Church, located at the the Scalzo Building, 2 Stony Hill Road, Bethel at 7:00pm.
