BETHEL, CT — Although it's a far cry from the $2 million payday scored by another Redding man playing a lottery game in Bethel this week, $20,000 is still nothing to sneeze at.

The lucky winner, identified only as "Richard L" by the Connecticut Lottery, bought his $20K-winning 20X Cash 8th Edition ticket at Sam's Food at 295 Greenwood Avenue on Wednesday.
