Obit: Doris Belardinelli, 88, of Bethel

Doris “Noni” Grace (Abbott) Belardinelli, age 88, of Bethel, CT died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at her home. She was the widow of Walter J. Belardinelli.

She was born in Danbury, CT, May 27, 1929, daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Sturdevant) Abbott. She was a Registered Nurse most of her life.

Noni was happiest surrounded by her family, making Sunday dinners, watching sports, and listening to country music. She loved crocheting blankets for her grandchildren, newborns, and new cars. One of her favorite pass times was crossword puzzles and solving the Jumble each day.
Doris is survived by her 5 children: Walter H. and his wife Deb, Gary R. and his wife Emily, Ned P. and his wife Fudgy, Tina Moravsky, Marylou Reseska and her husband Mike all of Bethel; and her honorary son Pete Radlet and his wife April of Danbury; Grandchildren: Alan, Annie and her husband Will Durgy, Greg, Caitlin, Brendan and his wife Laura, Robby, Alec, Lauren, RJ, Sara and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethel VNA, 70 Stony Hill Rd., Bethel, CT 06801.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, Bethel, on Tuesday, January 9th at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends at the church during the half hour preceding the Mass from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. A reception will follow the Mass in the church hall.
