Obituary: Ann Margaret (Stevenson) Main, 86, of Bethel
Ann worked at the Barden Company in Danbury for eight years and then became a homemaker raising her three children with her husband Jim.

BETHEL, CT — Ann Margaret (Stevenson) Main of Bethel, passed away on October 1st, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Ann was predeceased by husband James A. Main with whom she was married to for 57 years.
Ann was born in Danbury on August 17, 1932 a daughter to the late Edward and Anna (Bighham) Stevenson. She is survived by her three children: James D. Main (Linda), Karen A. Dibble (Robert) and Gary S. Main. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Nicole, Michelle, David, Gabriella, Gretchen; three great grandchildren: T.J. Lam, Jayson Gerell & R.J. Gerell; sisters: Jean Turosky, Sally Barry, Kathy (Howard) Stevens and Joan (George) Bond; sister in law: Shirley Dann, brother in law: John Main and several nieces and nephews.

Ann spent her childhood growing up on South St. in Danbury and attended St. Peter's Catholic School and Danbury High School. After meeting her husband, Jim they lived in Bethel purchasing property and proudly building their home.
Ann worked at the Barden Company in Danbury for eight years and then became a homemaker raising her three children with her husband Jim. She spent her time being very involved with her children attending their social activities and sporting events, and especially enjoyed being a Cub Scouts den mother. After her children had grown she enjoyed babysitting and being involved with her grandchildren. Ann always enjoyed vacations to the Rhode Island shore during the summer months with her children and their friends. Ann will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, Bethel on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. There are no calling hours.
