Obituary: Ann Marie Young, 94, Of Bethel

BETHEL, CT — Ann Marie Young, (nee Moker) 94, of Bethel, passed away on Jan. 15, 2023. Robert A. Young, her husband of 56 years, predeceased her. She was born August 29, 1928 in Stamford, the daughter of the late Michael and Ann Moker.

She was employed for over 45 years as a registered nurse. She loved to spend time reading, seeing her grandchildren and spending time with her niece Marianne, her husband, Roman and their son, Ryan in South Carolina.

In addition to her parents and her husband, three siblings predeceased her: Mary, Robert and Elizabeth.

Survivors include her son, Mark; her daughter, Holly and her husband, Jeff. Mrs. Young had five beloved grandchildren: Tara, Allison, Matthew, Eric and Jack.

She is also survived by her sister-in-law Joan Cushnie as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023 at 10 am at St. Mary's Church, Bethel CT. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Danbury.
