Faye Dellaventura, of Bethel, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at Danbury Hospital. She was born on Jan. 24, 1926, in Stamford, daughter of the late Michael Sagnelli and Lucille (Rainone) Marcucci.
Dellaventura was a member of the group Loss & Laughter in Bethel at the Community Room. She loved playing bingo at the senior center and volunteered at the Bishop Curtis Home. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend; she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Michael DellaVentura and his wife Cheryl; four daughters, Sandra Ginicola and her husband William, Lucille Ofiero and her husband John, Jo-Ann DellaVentura and Diane Smith and her husband Robert; her daughter-in-law, Cathy DellaVentura and sister-in-law, Alfreda Sagnelli. She was predeceased by her son Joseph DellaVentura; two brothers, Alphonse and Frank Sagnelli and her sister, Angelina Borgognone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at , 26 Dodgintown Rd., Bethel. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery in Darien.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 pm on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury.
