Obituary: Francesca Bonacci, 91, Of Bethel And Danbury
Francesca was employed with the Davis and Geck Company for 24 years until the time of her retirement.

BETHEL, CT — Francesca Bonacci, age 91 of Bethel, died on Thursday, Dec. 8 at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Enrico Bonacci.
Francesca was born Oct. 5, 1931 in Calabria, Italy, the daughter of the late Antonio and Fortunata (Bonacci) Bonacci. She had immigrated to the United States, arriving with her three children on October 4, 1961 to meet her husband and daughter who had immigrated to the United States a year earlier. They made their home in Danbury, where they had resided for 45 years, before moving to Bethel in 2006.

Francesca was employed with the Davis and Geck Company for 24 years until the time of her retirement. She was a parishioner of Saint Peter Church, Danbury, and later a parishioner of Saint Mary Church, Bethel. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and crocheting.
Francesca is survived by her daughters: Rachel Cerra of Newtown, Antoinetta “Toni” Bonacci of Danbury, and Fortunata “Fudgy” Belardinelli and her husband Ned of Bethel, eight grandchildren: John Cerra (Michelle), Marc Cerra, Tania Bonacci (Andrea), Joseph Bonacci, Alan Brown (Amanda), Brendan Belardinelli-Shaw (Laura), Alec Belardinelli (Cristina), and Lauren Belardinelli, 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Enrico, Francesca was predeceased by her son Bill Bonacci, and sons in law Roberto Cerra and Basilio Bonacci.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at Saint Mary Church, Bethel. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
