Obituary: James E. O'Hara, Jr., 81, of Bethel

BETHEL, CT — James E. O'Hara, Jr. passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 in Houston, Texas from complications of bladder cancer. He was born in Danbury, on December 28, 1936 to James E., Sr. and Marietta Eisenberger O'Hara of Bethel.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Webster O'Hara and his son, James E. O'Hara, III. He leaves a son, John M. O'Hara of San Antonio, TX and two grandchildren, Joshua James and Brigette Olivia also of San Antonio. He is survived by two brothers, Thomas C., of Ft. Worth, TX and David K. of Colleyville, TX, two sisters, Patty, of Niskayuna, NY and Scarlett, of Homewood, IL as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

His funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bethel, CT on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary's cemetery in Bethel.
