Obituary: Raniero Pasqualone, 78, of Bethel

Since he retired from General Motors you would often find Raniero tinkering around his yard fixing tractors and snowblowers.

BETHEL, CT — Raniero Pasqualone, age 78, a long-time resident of Bethel, passed away peacefully at Vassar Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. He was the loving husband of the late Rose Angelina (Keating) Pasqualone, who passed away in 2018. He was born in Tagliacozzo, Italy, January 4, 1942 a son of the late Diego and Bennedetta (DiDomenico) Pasqualone.

Raniero had a loving nature with a heart of gold. He loved his family more than anything in the world. Since he retired from General Motors you would often find him tinkering around his yard fixing tractors and snowblowers. He never said no to helping anyone who stopped by.

He will be deeply missed by his children: Bernadette Santarelli (husband Nicholas Santarelli) Diego and Joseph. He will be profoundly missed by his five grandchildren: Michael, Brian (wife Victoria Pasqualone) CJ, Gabriella and Bianca and two great grandchildren: Ethan (Brian and Victoria) and McKenzie (Michael) and his five great niece/nephews: Roman and Ava (Rob and Kerry) and Andrea and Sophia (Carmine) and Joy (Federica). He will be missed by his brother Dominic Pasqualone (Rocchina) and their children Robert (Kerry), Mark, Tom and Andrew. His sister Graziella Marcelli (Pepe) and their children Carmine, Federica (Anthony) and Alessandro.

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Saturday afternoon, March 14 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. He will be cremated and buried at a later date
