OGRADY ENDORSED BY Former CT GOVERNOR JODI RELL

O'Grady in Probate Primary for Regional Probate Judge-August 9, 2016

Daniel O’Grady, current Treasurer of the Town of Bethel, attorney at law and former Bethel Probate Judge has been endorsed by former Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell in his bid to fill the upcoming Regional Probate Judge vacancy in the Northern Fairfield County Probate Court this fall. The Court serves approximately 80,000 persons in Ridgefield, Redding, Newtown and Bethel.

In a statement dated July 12, 2016 Governor Rell says "I have had the privilege of knowing Dan O'Grady for over twenty-five years. His integrity and honesty are qualities I admire and respect. He has the experience, knowledge and compassion necessary to be the next Northern Fairfield County Probate Court Judge"

The current judge, Joseph Egan, is retiring this fall. O’Grady will face off in a Republican primary against Ridgefield attorney Patrick Walsh on August 9th in the four towns. The primary winner will be the Republican candidate.

O’Grady is an experienced attorney of (31) years and probate judge having served as the Town of Bethel Probate Judge for (20) years, prior to the State of Connecticut consolidation of the probate system.
