One Dead After Bethel Stabbing

BETHEL, CT — One person was killed following an early morning stabbing in town. Police have the suspect in custody, according to a release.

Shortly before 1 a.m., Bethel police answered a call about stabbing in a Plumtrees Road home.

First responders found the victim suffering from stab wounds in the home. Medical aid was given at the home, and the victim was transported to Danbury Hospital Emergency room.

Police say the victim succumbed to their wounds and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
