Pet of the Week - Rocco

Hello! I'm Rocco, a nine-month old Foxhound mix. If sitting at home is boring and you like to be on the go than I think we could be friends! I love to be active, and I’m searching for an active home. Need an exercise buddy? I’m your guy! I have energy to keep me going through a nice run, a hike, and lots of daily walks. I am technically still a puppy, so I am looking for someone who will help me continue my schooling in training and socialization. I’m eager to please and I’m sure we’ll make a great team! Because of my size, it would be best if I was with older kids who were around dogs previously. I would feel terrible if I accidentally knocked over a little one! I can be reserved with new people or in new situations, but once I know you a little better I know we’ll be fast friends. If you are looking for a dog that is always willing to take on that next adventure at a full sprint, then I may be partner you have been looking for!

Rocco is available for adoption at the Danbury Animal Welfare Organization, located at 147 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel, CT.
