Pet of the Week - Shelby
Shelby is looking for her forever home! She is available for adoption at DAWS.
Hi everyone! My name is Shelby and I’m a one year-old American Blue Heeler mix. I really enjoy belly rubs and hot dogs on the grill! I’m an affectionate girl and love getting attention and I’m also energetic and love to be outside and keep an eye on everything that’s happening around me! I am looking for someone who will provide me with physical and mental outlets for my energy. I hope you have lots of treats and are ready for fun and games. I know how to sit and lay down and look forward to learning more things with you. I need to be introduced to new dogs gradually, so I may never be a dog park dog. I will need an owner willing to exercise me in other ways. I prefer long walks on the beach, or hiking in the woods. I would do best in a home with mature, dog savvy children. I have a real zest for life, and my enthusiasm is contagious. If you share these qualities, we might just be made for each other!
Shelby is available for adoption at the Danbury Animal Welfare Organization, located at 147 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel, CT. Even if you are unable to adopt Shelby, you can still help her find her forever home by sharing her on your own social media pages, and letting others know about this wonderful girl! Thank you!
