Sophie is an eight-year old Pug mix. She used to live in a home of her own right here in CT, but Sophie’s owner couldn't take care of her anymore. This little sweetheart is ready to start the next chapter of her life - hopefully with you! She can seem a little shy at first and it can take her some time to open up to new people, but if you can be patient with her, she’ll show you just how warm and loving she can be. Once she gets to know you better, she'll demonstrate all the amazing ways Sophie can roll on her back! Sophie will do best in a quiet, low-traffic home where she can relax and be herself. Sophie is available for adoption at the Danbury Animal Welfare Organization, located at 147 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel, CT. DAWS has Dog Open House hours Monday, Thursday, and Friday nights from 6 pm to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 2-4.
