Police Nab Bethel Man for 'Suspected Heroin'
The man was pulled over when he made an unsafe lane change on I-84, according to state troopers
BETHEL, CT — State police have charged a local man on drug and criminal impersonation charges.
Troopers pulled Jesse J. Belansky, 37, of Bethel, over on Interstate 84 Monday shortly before 8 p.m., for making an unsafe lane change between Exits 16 and 15., according to the police report.
Police observed that Belansky's car's registration did not match the car he was driving. After further investigation, police found Belansky, who initially provided a false identity, to be in possession of 10 bags of "suspected heroin," according to the report.
