Proposed Bethel School Budget Comes with Slight Increase
Most of the increase is to meet contractual raises.

BETHEL, CT — Superintendent Christine Carver has proposed a school budget for the next fiscal year that comes with a 1.68 increase.
Carver said 1.5 percent of the increase is for contractual raises for staff, according to the News-Times.
The budget focused on reallocated resources to become more efficient, Carver said.

Board of Education Charman Larry Craybas told the News-Times that it was the lowest increase he saw for a school budget in western Connecticut.
