Putnam Park Gas Station To Be Replaced by New, Improved Store
Those frequenting Rte. 58 near Putnam Park will notice that the gas station that stood for many years is now a construction site.
BETHEL, CT — Those driving on Rte. 58 near Putnam Park will notice that the gas station which has stood for many years is now a construction site.
According to Mitchell, the company that owns the store, a new and improved gas station is coming to the site. The company hopes to re-open the store as soon as possible.
"We apologize for any inconvenience these renovations may cause you, but we are sure that you will be very pleased with the new store," the company announced on it's website.

The announcement did not indicate what the new store would include, or when construction is expected to be completed
The store is located near the Bethel/Redding line north of Putnam Memorial State Park. The renovation project began on Feb. 27.
