Rose Cher Parrack, 88, of Bethel, Passed Away
She was a HAM radio operator and an accomplished musician who taught piano and organ for many years at her own studio.

BETHEL, CT — Rose Cher Parrack, 88, passed away March 1, 2016 at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Port Orange, FL, with her niece, Maureen, holding her hand. Rose was born in Bethel, CT on September 3, 1927 to the late Stephen and Rose Cher.
She was a retired purchasing agent for Controlex, a global manufacturing corporation, located in Croton Falls, NY. Rose was also an accomplished musician who taught piano and organ for many years at her own studio in Danbury, CT. She moved to Port Orange, FL in 1997 where she was an avid active (HAM) amateur radio operator with DBARA (Daytona Beach Amateur Radio Association).
Rose was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Joseph, Stephen, Michael, and George Cher, and her sister Elizabeth Todd. She is survived by her nieces, Maureen O'Connor of Port Charlotte, FL, Michele Payuk of Fort Pierce, FL, Laura Homa (Joseph) of Bethel, CT and Cindy Harris (Brian) of Southbury, CT and her nephews, John Todd of Bethel, CT and Stanley Cher (Barbara) of Woodbury, CT.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Charity of you Choice or to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Fl, 32129. Per her request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Local arrangements are by Shannon Maloney Funeral Home, Port Orange, FL.
