Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Department Elects New Officers

Stony Hill Fire Department in Bethel held its annual elections.

The Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Department held its annual elections on December 1st for officers who will fill their elected positions for 2015. Line Officers who were elected and their positions:

  • Chief - Tom Galliford
  • Assistant Chief - John Baker
  • Chief Engineer - Dave Evanuska
  • Captain - Kevin Sheehan
  • Lieutenants - John Banks (S6), Patrick Magyar (S7), Shawn Amero (S8)
  • Engine 1 - Jake Barriere
  • Engine 3 - Tim Thomas
  • Engine 11 - Tom Sheehan
  • Rescue 2 - A.J. Matturo
  • Utility 5 - Brian Bergen
  • A3 - Kevin Riley
  • EMS Director - John Giambruno
  • Assistant EMS Director - Jim Mangi
  • Civil Officers who were elected:
  • President - Rick Courchene
  • Vice President - Debbie Studwell
  • Treasurer - James L’Hernault
  • Assistant Treasurer - Karen Farrenkopf
  • Secretary - Millie Tortora
  • Board of Director Trustees - Jon Menti, Jay Streaman, Kevin Sheehan.
