Off The Streets Furniture Collection -- Saturday September 3rd
Off the Streets provides furniture and household goods to homeless people moving into rooms or apartments.

Off the Streets works to get currently homeless people out of shelters and the streets into housing. We can act very quickly — the transition from homelessness to a furnished room or apartment can take place within a day or two.
We provide the following kinds of help:
- Moral support and encouragement — to help people believe that they can escape the trap of homelessness, and to help them retain their housing
- Security deposits and other financial support
- Furniture and household items
We currently are not soliciting household goods, but we need furniture donations, particularly twin mattresses and box springs, small kitchen tables/chairs and dressers. Furniture collections are the first Saturday of each month from 10am to 12 noon behind the United Methodist Church 141 Greenwood Ave in Bethel.
