Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Opens Tonight at Bethel Cinema

a presents Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, the long-awaited feature film version of John le Carre's classic bestselling novel. The thriller is directed by Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In). The screenplay adaptation is by the writing team of Bridget O'Connor & Peter Straughan. The time is 1973. The Cold War of the mid-20th Century continues to damage international relations.
Starring such luminaries as John Hurt and Gary Oldman, the film averages an 85 percent favorable critic rating from the website, Rotten Tomatoes, which states, "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is a dense puzzle of anxiety, paranoia, and espionage that director Tomas Alfredson pieces together with utmost skill."
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy has a 2:18 running time and is rated R. Tickets are $9.50 or $7.50 for seniors and most matinees.
