Underaged Driver Arrested for DUI After Speeding
Incident occurred on Sunday on Stony Hill Road.

On Sunday, the Bethel Police arrested Patrick Ness, 20, of Taylor Road in Bethel, after speeding on Stony Hill Road.
According to police reports, Ness was pulled over after officers witnessed him traveling 58 mph in a 35 mph speed zone. After being stopped, officers detected an odor of alcohol on his breath and saw an open 12-pack of beer in the car. Ness subsequently failed a field sobriety test.
Ness was arrested and charged with driving while under the influence by someone under the age of 21, possession of alcohol by a minor and speeding. He was released on $100 bond and is due in court on for a Thursday, Sept. 15.
