Bethel resident Christopher Dube filmed two cats prowling about in the snow near his house, occasionally talking back and forth to each other and he wondered: “Are these bobcats?”

Someone he knew suggested the animals might be lynxes, so he shared the video with Connecticut Fish and Wildlife on Feb. 21 and said:

“I took this video today at my house. I thought they were two bobcats, though somebody suggested they might be lynxes! From what I found online, lynxes were not thought to be found here in CT anymore. Can anyone identify them?”
Connecticut Fish and Wildlife confirmed the animals are bobcats.
