What's On: Survivor, Bent, Duck Dynasty

Survivor: One World, 8 p.m., CBS

Jeff Probst is a brilliant puppet master. He leads those Tribal Councils with questions that are based on everything that we know has already transpired (but which often everyone in the tribe doesn’t know about), and he gets the players to give us answers that we crave without him spilling any beans. Plus, he pushes everyone’s buttons without giving anything away. Brilliant.

Bent, 9 p.m., NBC

“After a divorce, Alex moves into a smaller home with her daughter and hires Pete, a free-spirited, charismatic contractor, to renovate her kitchen.” Or as I like to call it, Murphy Brown.

Duck Dynasty, 10 p.m., A&E

I am not making this up: ““Duck Dynasty” follows the goings-on at Duck Commander, a family business in Louisiana that is built on duck calls.” And the New York Times says it is great. So there, cat fish fighters.
